Recently, laparoscopic urologic surgical procedures have been preferred for most of the major urologic
surgical procedures in advanced surgical centers. Upto now, benefits of laparoscopic urologic surgeries have
been presented in numerous studies. The consciousness has been appeared in patients parallel to clinicians
prefered these surgical options. Although there are some benefits, there are complications in laparoscopic
urologic surgery, notably gastrointestinal complications can annoy. In this review, we evaluated
gastrointestinal complications of laparoscopic urologic surgery and its diagnosis methods in view of current
literature.

Öz
Günümüzde gelişmiş cerrahi merkezlerde, ürolojik majör cerrahi işlemlerin çoğunda laparoskopi
uygulamaları tercih edilmektedir. Şimdiye kadar yapılmış birçok çalışmada laparoskopik ürolojik cerrahinin
çeşitli faydaları tarif edilmiştir. Klinisyenlerin bu cerrahi seçeneği daha çok tercih etmesine paralel olarak,
hastalarda da bu cerrahi seçenek için bilinç oluşmaya başlamıştır. Birçok faydası olsa da laparoskopik
ürolojik cerrahinin komplikasyonları mevcuttur ve özellikle de gastrointestinal komplikasyonları can sıkıcı
olabilmektedir. Bu derlemede güncel literatür eşliğinde laparoskopik ürolojik cerrahinin gastrointestinal
komplikasyonları ve tanı yöntemleri gözden geçirilmektedir.
