YÖNETİCİLERİN SOSYAL GÜÇ KULLANIMLARININ KUŞAK, EĞİTİM DURUMU VE CİNSİYET FARKLILIKLARI AÇILARINDAN İNCELENMESİ: ÖRNEK BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, yöneticilerin kullandıkları sosyal güç kaynaklarının
araştırılması ve kaynak seçimlerinin yöneticilerin mensup oldukları kuşaklar,
eğitim durumları ve cinsiyet değişkenleri bağlamında farklılık gösterip
göstermediğinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren
işletmelerde görev yapan kişilere anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Toplam 570
kişiye ulaşılmış, bunlardan anketi eksiksiz dolduran 547 kişi seçilmiştir. Güç
kaynaklarını ölçmek için Kişilerarası Güç Envanteri kullanılmış, araştırmanın
hipotezleri fark analizleri ile test edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçları, kadınların kişisel
ödüllendirici güç kaynağını erkeklere kıyasla daha fazla kullandıklarını, X kuşağı
yöneticilerin kişisel olmayan cezalandırıcı güç kaynağını Y kuşağı yöneticilere
göre daha fazla kullandıklarını, Y kuşağı yöneticilerin yasal-bağımlılık güç
kaynağını BB ve X kuşağı yöneticilere nazaran daha fazla kullandıklarını
göstermektedir. Yöneticilerin eğitim durumlarına göre güç kaynakları kullanımına
ilişkin istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilememiştir. Araştırma
bulguları sonuç bölümünde tartışılmıştır.
