Gastric antral vascular ectasia is a rare disorder which is usually detected in elderly woman. It is an important syndrome because it can be a reason of frequent blood transfusions. Patients also should be evaluated for co-existing diseases. Herein, we report a 75-year-old female patient diagnosed as Gastric antral vascular ectasia in our clinic and needed more than 20 units of erythrocyte transfusion during her follow-ups

Öz

Gastrik antral vasküler ektazi, özellikle ileri yaş kadın hastalarda g.rülen nadir ancak sık transfüzyon ihtiyacı oluşturabilmesi nedeniyle önemli bir sendromdur. Gastrik antral vasküler ektazi tespit edildiğinde hastanın eşlik edebilecek diğer hastalıklar y.nünde değerlendirilmesi gerekir. Bu yazıda kliniğimizde gastrik antral vasküler ektazi tanısı konan ve takipleri sırasında >20 ünite eritrosit transfüzyonu ihtiyacı olan 75 yaşında bir kadın hasta sunuldu.
