Effects of Perceived Organizational Trust on Employee Motivation: An Application on Retail Store Employees
Öz
Objective of the study:In this study, it has been aimed at analyzing the effects of perceived organizational trust on employee motivation.
Design and Methodolgy:In this context, it has been used the data collected from 181 employees at a retail store. The questionnaire method is used as a data collecting method. “The Motivation Questionnaire” has been used to measure motivation. “Trust in Organization Questionnaire” has been used to measure organizational trust. The factor, reliability, correlation and regression analyses has been carried out by using acquired data with the help of a statistic program.
Findings: The result of the analyses indicates that perceived organizational trust effects the motivation of the retail store employees.
Originality:The findings from this study may be used to improve productivity and to understand the motivation level of the employees of the organization. It will also show their trust to each other as well as their managers and their organization.
