This study aimed to evaluate short films on environment awareness prepared by prospective classroom teachers in terms of filming location, characters, topics, skills involved, messages conveyed and goals targeted for the audience. In this qualitative research, the participant students prepared nine short films in groups and completed written forms to explain the content of their films. The results showed that the prospective teachers mostly focused on the dispersal of waste materials into the environment and importance of keeping the environment clean. Based on the results, it is suggested that technological pedagogical content knowledge of prospective teachers on environmental education should be developed through future implementations.
