Dietary fibers are known as potential formulations in human health thanks to their beneficial effects in the control of life-threatening chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, obesity and cancer. In recent decades, scientists around the world have devoted tremendous interest to evaluating the interplay between dietary fibers intake and cancer. The main focus of the current review is to highlight the importance of dietary fibers expressively. Now, to significantly achieve the promising health benefits from these dietary fibers, it is aimed to develop novel formulations to enhance and scale up their efficacy.
