The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between workplace envy and turnover intention, and to reveal the mediating role of felt stress and workplace incivility in this relationship. For this purpose, three public institutions in Ankara province were determined as the main population. Data were collected from a sample of 428 employees determined by random sampling method from these public institutions, by means of a survey technique. Structural Equation Model was used to test the hypotheses of the research. The results of the analysis show that workplace envy, which is the independent variable, positively predicts the felt stress, workplace incivility and turnover intention. Felt stress and workplace incivility also predicted turnover intention in a positive and significant way. It was observed that the effect of stress on turnover intention was higher than the effect of workplace incivility on turnover intention. In the study, it was concluded that the felt stress and workplace incivility had a full mediating effect in the relationship between workplace envy and turnover intention. It has been observed that the stress felt in the mediation relationship has a higher effect than workplace incivility.
