Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the effects of different shading treatments (50 % monolayer (G1) and double layer (G2), shading powder (G3) and control application for which no shading (K)) on yield and quality of Sinbat F1 (Cucumis sativus L.) cucumber variety, grown organically, in greenhouse condition. The highest yield (10213 kg/da) and leaf chlorophyll content (29.1 ccı) was observed the 50 % shading (G1). A positive correlation (P<0.05) was determined between leaf chlorophyll content and yield. As a result, yield and quality were affected significantly by 50% shading application in organic cucumber cultivation.1. GİRİŞ
