Eylem-Durum Yönelimi Literatürünün Gelişimi ve Kavramsal Yapısı Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kuhl (1981) tarafından geliştirilen ve bireylerin hedefe yönelik davranışı başlatma, sürdürme ve stresli durumlarla başa çıkma süreçlerindeki farklılıkları açıklayan Eylem-Durum Yönelimi kavramına ilişkin literatürün bibliyometrik analizini gerçekleştirerek alanın kavramsal yapısını ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda Scopus veri tabanında başlık, özet ve anahtar kelimelerinde “eylem-durum yönelimi”, “eylem yönelimi”, “durum yönelimi”, “eylem kontrolü ölçeği” ve “ACS-90” ifadeleri geçen toplam 992 yayın tespit edilmiştir. Sosyal bilimler, psikoloji, işletme, karar bilimleri ve nörobilim alanlarında yayımlanan 301 çalışma araştırma kapsamına dâhil edilmiştir. Seçilen yayınlar ortak kelime analizi ve atıf analizi teknikleri kullanılarak incelenmiş ve VOSviewer 1.6.20 yazılımı aracılığıyla haritalandırılmıştır. Ayrıca yayınlara ilişkin temel istatistiksel bulgular da analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, eylem-durum yönelimi çalışmalarının özellikle 2010 yılından sonra belirgin biçimde arttığını ve kavramın ağırlıklı olarak öz-düzenleme, motivasyon, ruminasyon ve karar verme temalarıyla birlikte ele alındığını göstermektedir. Bu çalışma, alanın mevcut eğilimlerini ortaya koyarak gelecekte yapılacak araştırmalar için yol gösterici olmayı amaçlamaktadır.

An Examination of the Development and Conceptual Structure of Action-State Orientation Literature

Öz

The aim of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature on Action–State Orientation, a concept introduced by Kuhl (1981) to explain individual differences in initiating and maintaining goal-directed behavior and coping with stressful situations, and to reveal the conceptual structure of the field. For this purpose, a total of 992 publications containing the terms “action–state orientation,” “action orientation,” “state orientation,” “Action Control Scale,” and “ACS-90” in their titles, abstracts, or keywords were identified using the Scopus database. Among these, 301 studies published in the fields of social sciences, psychology, and business administration were included in the analysis. The selected publications were examined using co-word analysis and citation analysis techniques and were visualized through bibliometric mapping with VOSviewer version 1.6.20. In addition, descriptive statistical findings related to the publications were analyzed. The results indicate a substantial increase in action–state orientation research after 2010 and show that the concept is predominantly associated with themes such as self-regulation, motivation, rumination, and decision-making. By identifying major trends in the literature, this study aims to provide guidance for future research in the field.
