GEODESIGN FOR URBAN PLANNING – THE EXAMPALE OF HARRAN UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUS MASTERPLAN

Öz

Since 10 years Geodesign has been applied in regional and urban planning throughout the world. The Department of Geomatics, Harran University has been charged with the design of a new master plan using Geodesign technology. “Geodesign Hub”, an online software for collaborative Geodesign, has been selected for this project. Evaluation maps created based on the judgment of experts in the respective field of specialization. ESRI's CityEngine used for the creation of realistic models that can easily be understood by the higher management. This is being realized by conducting several workshops with the participation of the higher management of Harran University.
