Modernizmden Postmodernizme: Liderliğin Dönüşümü Kültürel ve Kimliksel Bağlamlar

Öz

Bu çalışma, modernizmden postmodernizme uzanan düşünsel dönüşümü felsefi, kültürel ve sosyolojik perspektifler çerçevesinde incelemekte; özellikle liderlik, kültür ve kimlik kavramları üzerine odaklanmaktadır. Montaigne ve Spinoza’dan Nietzsche’ye uzanan modernitenin düşünsel temellerinden hareketle, Sanayi Devrimi’nin modern toplumsal yapılar üzerindeki etkisi ele alınmakta ve evrensel akıl, ilerleme ve hakikat anlayışlarına yönelik postmodern eleştirilerin ortaya çıkışı tartışılmaktadır. Frankfurt Okulu’nun kuramsal katkılarından yararlanılarak, popüler kültür, görsel kültür ve tüketim pratikleri postmodern toplumun temel dinamikleri olarak analiz edilmektedir. Ayrıca postmodern sinema, nostalji, simülasyon ve kültürel eleştiri temalarını somutlaştırmak amacıyla Paris’te Gece Yarısı filmi örneği üzerinden incelenmektedir. Son olarak çalışma, çağdaş liderlik modelleri ve gelecek perspektiflerini ele alarak, postmodern dönemde liderliğin artık sabit ya da kalıtsal bir yapı olmaktan çıkıp; dinamik, ilişkisel ve bağlama duyarlı bir süreç hâline geldiğini savunmaktadır. Bulgular, postmodernizmin belirsizlik ve çoğullukla karakterize edilen çağdaş dünyada kültürü, liderliği ve bireysel özneyi yeniden düşünmek için eleştirel bir çerçeve sunduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

From Modernism to Postmodernism: The Transformation of Leadership in Cultural and Identity Contexts

Öz

This study examines the intellectual transformation from modernism to postmodernism through philosophical, cultural, and sociological perspectives, with a particular focus on leadership, culture, and identity. Drawing on the intellectual foundations of modernity from Montaigne and Spinoza to Nietzsche, the study analyzes the effects of the Industrial Revolution on modern social structures and discusses the emergence of postmodern critiques of universal reason, progress, and truth. The theoretical contributions of the Frankfurt School are employed to analyze popular culture, visual culture, and consumption practices as key dynamics of postmodern society. In order to concretize themes such as postmodern cinema, nostalgia, simulation, and cultural critique, the film Midnight in Paris is examined as a case study. Finally, the study addresses contemporary leadership models and future perspectives, arguing that in the postmodern era leadership has evolved from a fixed or inherited structure into a dynamic, relational, and context-sensitive process. The findings suggest that postmodernism provides a critical framework for rethinking culture, leadership, and individual subjectivity in a contemporary world characterized by uncertainty and plurality.
