The purpose of this research; The aim of the study is to reveal the opinions of school administrators working in settlements where the refugee population is concentrated in Istanbul, about refugee students and their families. The universe of the patterned research with the general scanning model; In the 2020-2021 academic year, a total of 442 school administrators, including 6 assistant principals, 151 principals and 285 deputy principals, are working at different educational levels in public schools in Küçükçekmece. The sample of the research is 52 school administrators selected from the universe. Of the sample group, 27 are male and 25 are female, and 34 of them work in primary school, 10 in secondary school and 8 in high school. A questionnaire with 11 questions was developed and applied to obtain the research data. In addition to the personal characteristics of the participants, the questionnaire includes questions about their experiences with refugee students and their parents, the problems they encounter, and solutions to the problems. Research survey; Due to Covid-19 measures, it was digitized via Google Forms and participant responses were collected digitally. In addition to descriptive statistics, difference analysis, ANOVA test and correlation test were used in the data analyzed with the help of SPSS Package Program. The open-ended questions in the questionnaire were analyzed by content analysis. According to the participants; The most important advantage of refugee students' presence in Turkey is its cultural richness. School administrators mainly focused on the problems they experience with refugee students and their families. They stated that they have problems with language and communication with refugee students and their families, difficulty in adapting to the school culture of refugee students, indifference of refugee families to education and students' tendency to violence. For the solution of the problems experienced by the participants; They made suggestions about providing language and communication support to refugee students and their parents, gaining Turkish culture, arranging education programs in Turkey to meet the educational needs of international immigrant and refugee students, and planning adaptation activities.
