In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between the sustainable environmental education of university students and their attitudes towards environmental problems. The research was designed with a descriptive and correlational scanning model from quantitative research methods. The sample of the study consisted of 342 volunteer students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences located on the Şehzadeler campus of Manisa Celal Bayar University, who were included in the study via convenience sampling. "Sustainable Environmental Education Attitude Scale" (SEEAS) and "Attitude towards Environmental Issues scale" were used in the research. The results of the research show that female students have higher attitudes towards sustainable environmental education, volunteering for sustainable environmental education and efficient consumption in sustainable environmental education subscales than males. In addition, when the correlation analysis results are examined, there is a moderate positive correlation between Attitude towards Environmental Problems Scale total score and awareness of the sustainable environment (r=480), volunteering for sustainable environmental education (r=441), frugality in sustainable environmental education (r=535), sensitivity in sustainable environmental education (r=525) and efficient consumption in sustainable environmental education (r=545) subscales of Sustainable Environment Education Attitudes Scale; as well as, there is a moderate negative correlation between Attitude towards Environmental Problems Scale total score and negative thoughts for sustainable environmental education (r=505) subscale of Sustainable Environment Education Attitudes Scale. As a result, it can be stated that there is a relationship between the attitudes of individuals towards sustainable environmental education and their attitudes towards environmental problems. The symbiotic relationship between the two scales demonstrates the need for individuals to be educated about environmental problems.
