Dijital Kamusal Alanda İsrail–Filistin Çatışmasının Ekşi Sözlük Üzerinden Söylemsel Analizi

Öz

Türkiye’de özellikle Ekşi Sözlük gibi kullanıcı katkılı platformlarda çatışmanın söylemsel, ideolojik ve duygulanımsal temsillerinin nitel olarak incelenmemiş olması çalışmanın temel problematiğini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ekşi Sözlük kullanıcı girdilerini eleştirel söylem analizi çerçevesinde değerlendirerek, dijital kamusal alanda çatışmanın hangi söylemsel ve duygulanımsal çerçeveler üzerinden anlamlandırıldığını ortaya koymaktır. Nitel araştırma yaklaşımı benimsenmiş; van Dijk’in sosyo-bilişsel modeli ile Wodak’ın söylem-tarihsel yaklaşımı hibrit biçimde kullanılmıştır. Veri seti olarak 7 Ekim 2023–25 Eylül 2025 tarihleri arasında amaçlı örnekleme ile seçilen 157 kullanıcı girdisi analiz edilmiştir. Analiz, adlandırma, yükleme, çerçeveleme, gerekçelendirme ve duygusal yoğunluklandırma gibi dilsel stratejiler üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Bulgular, kullanıcı yorumlarının sivillere yönelik şiddeti normatif ve bilişsel çerçevelerle inşa ettiğini; taraf tutma ve meşrulaştırma stratejilerinin öne çıktığını; medya temsilleri ve dijital kamusal tartışmaların çatışma algısını şekillendirdiğini ve duygusal temsillerin ideolojik ve bilişsel işlevler taşıdığını göstermektedir. Ekşi Sözlük kullanıcıları çatışmayı bilgi paylaşımının ötesinde ideolojik pozisyon, duygulanımsal tepki ve toplumsal anlam üretimi perspektifiyle yorumlamakta, böylece dijital katılım ve kamusal müzakere literatürüne özgün bir katkı sunmaktadır.

A Discursive Analysis of the Israel–Palestine Conflict on Ekşi Sözlük in the Digital Public Sphere

Öz

In Türkiye, the lack of qualitative research on the discursive, ideological, and affective representations of conflict in user-generated platforms such as Ekşi Sözlük constitutes the main problem of this study. The aim of this research is to analyze Ekşi Sözlük user entries within the framework of critical discourse analysis and to reveal through which discursive and affective frames conflict is interpreted in the digital public sphere. A qualitative research approach is adopted, employing a hybrid model that combines van Dijk’s socio-cognitive framework with Wodak’s discourse-historical approach. The dataset consists of 157 user entries selected through purposive sampling from the period between 7 October 2023 and 25 September 2025. The analysis is conducted through linguistic strategies such as nomination, predication, framing, justification, and emotional intensification. The findings indicate that user comments construct violence against civilians through normative and cognitive frames; that strategies of partisanship and legitimation become salient; that media representations and digital public debates shape perceptions of the conflict; and that emotional representations perform ideological and cognitive functions. Ekşi Sözlük users interpret the conflict not merely as information exchange but through ideological positioning, affective responses, and processes of social meaning-making, thereby offering an original contribution to the literature on digital participation and public deliberation.
