Türkiye ve Almanya'daki Spor Yöneticiliği Lisans Programlarının Karşılaştırmalı Analizi

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Almanya ve Türkiye'deki spor yöneticiliği lisans programlarını müfredat yapısı, ders içeriği ve ders alanlarının dağılımı açısından karşılaştırmak; benzerlik ve farklılıklarını belirlemektir. Çalışma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımına dayalı karşılaştırmalı bir çalışma olarak tasarlanmıştır. Herhangi bir katılımcı grubu bulunmamakta olup, veri kaynaklarını Almanya'daki Leipzig Üniversitesi ve Köln Alman Spor Üniversitesi ile Türkiye'deki Akdeniz Üniversitesi ve İnönü Üniversitesi'nin spor yöneticiliği lisans programlarına ait resmi müfredat belgeleri oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, üniversitelerin resmi web siteleri ve yayınlanmış program içerikleri kullanılarak doküman analizi yoluyla toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak müfredat planları, ders tanımları ve AKTS/kredi dağılım tabloları kullanılmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiş; dersler genel kültür, alan bilgisi ve meslek bilgisi şeklinde kategorize edilmiştir. Ayrıca AKTS dağılımları hesaplanıp karşılaştırılmış ve bulgular tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Analizler; Alman programlarının yönetim, ekonomi ve işletme ile ilgili konulara daha yüksek oranda yer ayırdığını, Türk programlarının ise temel spor ve alana özgü derslere daha fazla vurgu yaptığını göstermiştir. Genel kültür dersleri her iki ülkede de sınırlı düzeydedir. Dahası, Alman programları daha güçlü, sektör odaklı ve uygulama temelli bir yapı sergilerken; Türk programları daha yüksek yoğunlukta teorik ve uygulamalı spor dersleri içermektedir. Sonuç olarak, Almanya'daki spor yöneticiliği eğitimi daha çok yönetim ve ekonomi odaklı görünürken, Türkiye'deki programların temel spor bilgisi ve teorik ders yoğunluğuna önem verdiği görülmektedir.

Comparative Analysis of Undergraduate Sports Management Programs in Turkey and Germany

Öz

The aim of this study is to compare undergraduate sport management programs in Germany and Turkey in terms of curriculum structure, course content, and distribution of course fields, and to identify their similarities and differences. This study was designed as a comparative study based on a qualitative research approach. There was no participant group; the data sources consisted of the official curriculum documents of undergraduate sport management programs at Leipzig University and German Sport University Cologne in Germany, and Akdeniz University and İnönü University in Turkey. The data were collected through document analysis using the official university websites and published program contents. Curriculum plans, course descriptions, and ECTS/credit distribution tables were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed through content analysis; courses were categorized into general education, field knowledge, and professional knowledge. In addition, ECTS distributions were calculated and compared, and the findings were presented in tables. The analyses showed that German programs allocate a higher proportion of courses to management, economics, and business-related subjects, whereas Turkish programs place greater emphasis on fundamental sport and field-specific courses. General education courses remain limited in both countries. Furthermore, German programs demonstrate a stronger sector-oriented and practice-based structure, while Turkish programs show a higher concentration of theoretical and applied sport courses. In conclusion, sport management education in Germany appears to be more management and economy-oriented, whereas programs in Turkey emphasize fundamental sport knowledge and theoretical course intensity.
