Belam in the Context of Verses 175-176 of Sura al-Araf

Öz

A figure given to him verses by God is mentioned in the verses of Qur'an (Araf 7/175-176). According to the Qur'an, this figüre become one horny by adhering to the devil despite these verses given to him. In the Qur'an, this figure is compared to the dog. People are asked to think and take warning. In the verses that are not given any information about the identity of anyone. In spite of this commentary a variety of information related to the identity of that person is located. In this book, many people are given the name. But in this book, Belam b. Baura is focused more on.  However no one is not named in the verses. So it is not possible to say anything about anyone. On the other hand, the Bible has information about Belam. But information is available about this one in the Torah. This information is similar to the information contained in the books of tafsir. Therefore, It can be said commentators on this issue have benefited from İsrailiyyat.
