Abstract

Sanat eğitimi sürecinde ve sanatçıların eserlerinde ifade aracı olarak yer verilen nesne kavramı, dönemin şartlarına, sanat akımının özelliklerine ve sanatçının yorumuna bağlı olarak değişkenlik göstermiştir. Bir nesne olarak sandalye birçok sanatçının eserinde yer almış ve sanatçılar, mekân içerisinde ona farklı anlamlar yüklemiştir. Sanatçıların eserlerinde kullandıkları sandalye seçimleri, sandalyelerle oluşturdukları kompozisyonlar, sandalyeyi ele alış biçimleri yeni açılımları beraberinde getirmiştir. Araştırmanın temel amacı, sanat eğitiminde nesne kavramını ve bir nesne olarak seçilen sandalyenin mekânla birlikte ele alınış biçimlerini sanatçıların yapıtları doğrultusunda incelemektir. Araştırmada, 20. yüzyıldan günümüze sanatçıların yapıtlarında sandalyenin yorumlanışı ve farklı dönemlerdeki yaklaşımlar ışığında nesne kavramının gelişimi sandalye örneği ile açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, nesne kavramının çözümlenmesinde ve yorumlanmasında sanat eğitimi alan bireylere çağdaşlaşma sürecinde katkı sağlayacaktır.

Object Concept in Art Education and Artists’ Manners of Using with the Location in Their Works The Chair Selected as Object

Abstract

The object in the artist’s work as a tool of expression varies depending on the conditions of the era, features of the art movement and the artist’s interpretation. The chair, as an object, has been in the works of many artists and brought different meanings to the work within the location throughout time. The selection of chair used by the artists in their work, their approach to the chair brought about new developments. The purpose of the study is to examine the approach to the chair with the field in terms of the object concept in art education, in line with the artists’ works. The study examines the process of modernization of artists’ interpretation of chair from the 20th Century to present day as well as its reflections on art education, contributing to art students in analyzing the object concept.
