JOHN LOCKE'S STATE THOUGHT IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL CONTRACT
Öz
The aim of this study was to examine the philosophical foundations of the liberal
state concept that dominates today. For this reason, John Locke, accepted by the founders
of the liberalism, constitutes the main theme of the study. When John Locke's thought
system was considered, the political atmosphere of the geography in which he lived was
studied, and his influence on John Locke was briefly addressed. One of the main
objectives of this study is to examine the philosophy of establishment of a US, now called
the "Super State". John Locke's precaution in this context emerges more clearly when the
United States reads the Declaration of Independence.
