TOPLUM SÖZLEŞMESİ BAĞLAMINDA JOHN LOCKE’UN DEVLET ANLAYIŞI

The aim of this study was to examine the philosophical foundations of the liberal state concept that dominates today. For this reason, John Locke, accepted by the founders of the liberalism, constitutes the main theme of the study. When John Locke's thought system was considered, the political atmosphere of the geography in which he lived was studied, and his influence on John Locke was briefly addressed. One of the main objectives of this study is to examine the philosophy of establishment of a US, now called the "Super State". John Locke's precaution in this context emerges more clearly when the United States reads the Declaration of Independence.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, günümüzde egemen olan liberal devlet kavramının felsefi temellerini incelemektir. Bu nedenle liberalizmin kurucu babası olarak kabul edilen John Locke incelemenin ana temasını oluşturmaktadır. John Locke’un düşünce sistemi ele alınırken, yaşadığı coğrafyanın siyasi atmosferi incelenmiş ve bunun John Locke üzerindeki etkisi kısaca ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmanın yapılmasındaki temel amaçlardan birisi de günümüzde “Süper Devlet” olarak anılan ABD’nin kuruluş felsefesini incelemekti. John Locke’un önemi, ABD’nin Bağımsızlık Bildirgesi okunduğunda daha da net bir biçimde ortaya çıkmaktadır.
