Sanatçı ve Sultan Akkoyunlu Sultan Halil ve Kitap Sanatları

Akkoyunlu tarihinin kitap sanatları üretimi açısından önemli bir dönemine ışık tutan bu çalışma, yalnızca bir sanat tarihi incelemesi değil; aynı zamanda 15. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında İran coğrafyasında oluşan kültürel atmosferi çok yönlü bir bakışla ortaya koyan kapsamlı bir monografidir. Uzun Hasan ve sonrasında tahta çıkan oğulları Sultan Halil ve Sultan Yakub’un dönemlerinin el yazma eserlerini hazırlayan sanatçılara destek olduklarını himayeleri altında olduklarını tarihi kaynaklardan öğrenebilmekteyiz. Çalışma Akkoyunlu Uzun Hasan dönemi kitap sanatlarını bir bütün olarak tezhip, resim, cilt ve hat sanatları olarak ele almıştır. Hat sanatını ele aldığı bölümde dönemin tespit edilen hattatlarının üslup özellikleri de değerlendirilmiştir. Kitap Akkoyunlu sanatının doruk noktasını temsil eden Sultan Halil dönemini merkeze alarak, o döneme ait kitap sanatının tüm boyutlarını görünür kılan kapsamlı ve titiz bir araştırmadır. Karakoyunlu, Akkoyunlu, Türkmen resim üsluplarını bir bütün olarak okuyucuya sunmuştur.

his study evaluates an important phase of book arts production in Akkoyunlu history. It is not limited to a formal analysis of artworks; rather, it presents a structured monographic study that situates artistic production within the broader cultural context of the Iranian world in the second half of the fifteenth century. Historical sources indicate that during the reign of Uzun Hasan and subsequently under his sons, Sultan Halil and Sultan Yaʿqub, artists involved in the production of manuscripts worked under court patronage. The study addresses the book arts of the Akkoyunlu period during Uzun Hasan’s rule as a whole, examining illumination (tazhib), painting, bookbinding, and calligraphy. In the section on calligraphy, the stylistic features of the identified calligraphers of the period are also analyzed. By centering on the reign of Sultan Halil, which represents the most developed phase of Akkoyunlu artistic production, the book provides a detailed examination of the different components of book arts in this period. In addition, it evaluates Qaraqoyunlu, Aqqoyunlu, and Turkmen painting styles within a comparative framework.
