Jaan S. Islam ve Adem Eryiğit tarafından kaleme alınan “İbn Teymiyye'de İslam ve Devlet: Çeviri ve Analiz” başlıklı eser, İbn Teymiyye'nin siyasi ideolojilerini, yaşadığı dönemin jeopolitik ve teolojik bağlamları çerçevesinde incelemeye odaklanan bir çalışma sunmaktadır. Bu incelemede, İbn Teymiyye'nin fikirlerini çağdaş İslam siyaset teorisi ve dekolonyal düşünce içinde konumlandırmayı amaçlayan söz konusu kitabın eşsiz katkısının, İbn Teymiyye’nin temel risalelerinin hem teorik bir analizi hem de kapsamlı bir çevirisi olduğunu ifade edilmektedir. Bu değerlendirmede, kitabın yapısını, güçlü ve zayıf yönlerini incelenmekte ve İbn Teymiyye'nin düşüncesinin diğer yönlerini de içeren daha kapsamlı bir yaklaşım için öneriler sunulmaktadır. Bu kitap, İbn Teymiyye'nin siyaset felsefesine dair eleştirel fikirlerin yanı sıra erişilebilir birincil kaynaklara işaret etmesiyle siyaset bilimi, İslam çalışmaları ve dinî tarih alanındaki akademisyenler için elzem bir kaynaktır.
