Abstract

In this research, the ergonomic design of the offices in Sakarya University was examined and the congruity with Feng Shui philosophy was determined. By this purpose, this research, which has quantitative and qualitative methodology, was conducted. As a result, it is found that the academicians are not pleased about furniture, environment and working conditions in their offices; and they need new ergonomic design that includes Feng Shui philosophy. At the end of the study, new suggestions were listed for ergonomic office design

Feng Shui İle Daha Ergonomik Ofis Dizaynına Doğru

Öz

Bu çalışmada bir Devlet Üniversitesinin İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi binasında bulunan ofislerin ergonomi ve Feng Shui felsefesine uygunluğu irdelenerek daha ergonomik ofis dizaynında nelerin olması gerektiği üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu amaçla hem nitel hem de nicel içeriği olan bir metodoloji kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen araştırmada akademisyenlerin ofislerindeki mobilyalardan, çevre ve iş koşullarından fazla memnun olmadıkları ve farklı bir bakış açısı ile dizayn edilmesi gerektiğini düşündükleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Son olarak da ergonomik ofis dizaynı ile ilgili öneriler getirilmiştir
