In this study, it is aimed to have a say on the children who is neglected for a long time in the dominant theoretical trend in sociology which has the structural weight of the macro entities such as 'society, structure, institution'. Since the 1980s, it has been developed by a group of scholars especially in the UK that is called 'new sociology of childhood' aims to make children visible at the sociology. New sociology of childhood has tried to emphasize the capacities of agency of children as well as they are creative subjects. It is assumed that in this study, childhood sociology hasn't been established independently of the main theoretical and methodological framework of sociology. It is aimed to put forward the status of children at the future of childhood sociology and sociology. Sociology in general, as well as theoretical and methodological framework, globalization, social and structural inequalities, poverty, wars, famine, demographic changes, changes in family structure, immigration, considered as the universality-locality of each of the key issues are closely related to the concept of children and childhood, children and makes it possible for the establishment of bilateral ties between childhood and sociology discourse between structural reasons.
