Öz

Tarihsel olarak farklı formlarda uygulandığı kabul edilmekle
birlikte Türkiye, Dinî Danışmanlık uygulamalarına bir meslek alanı olarak çok
yeni başlamış durumdadır. 2012 yılı itibariyle bu alanda eleman yetiştirmek
amacıyla tezsiz yüksek lisans programları kurulmaya başlamış, 2015 yılı itibariyle
Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’nın seçilmiş bir grup personeline hizmet içi eğitim
vermeye başlamasıyla bu meslek grubu uygulama alanına dâhil olmuştur. Hem
kurumsallaşmasını tamamlamış olması hem de sistematik bir yapıya kavuşmuş
olması bakımından ABD’deki uygulamalar, mesleki dinî danışmanlığın ülkemizde
kendi gerçekliğimiz içinde kurumsallaşmasında ufuk açıcı bir niteliğe sahiptir.
Bu makalede, Türkiye için de bir örnek olması düşünülerek Amerika’da dinî
danışmanlığın ortaya çıkışı ve gelişiminden bahsedildikten sonra Amerika Dinî
Danışmanlar Kurumu (AAPC)’nun akredite kriterleri, mesleki etik standartları ve
akredite ettiği programlardan örnekler verilerek mesleki dinî danışmanlık
uygulamaları betimlenmeye çalışılmıştır.

Pastoral Counseling Training: American Sample

Öz

Although it has
been accepted to be practiced in different forms historically, Turkey has
recently begun to be a profession in the field of pastoral counseling.  By 2012, non-thesis graduate programs have
started to be trained in this area. By 2015,  Religious
Affairs Administration  has begun to provide in-service training to a select group of
staff and then this profession has been included in
the field of practice. Pastoral counseling practices in United States which
have been achieved institutionalization and systematic structure, possesses an
open-minded character in the institutionalization of professional religious
counseling within our own reality in our country. In this paper, accreditation
criteria, professional ethical standards and pastoral counseling practices by
American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC) were depicted and tried to
be described after talking about the emergence and development of pastoral
counseling in America, considering that this is an example for Turkey.
