Öz

Business continuity is the most recent name for one of the oldest, but neglected, arguments in the history of human behaviour. In this article we discuss how management should setup strategies within the business continuity context. The article starts by explaining management system concepts and principles that may affect the success of the management system. In the final part, the process of setting up business continuity strategies for resources is explained. The importance of factual decision making, meaning of authority and consensus are discussed.

Öz

İş sürekliliği insan davranışının tarihi içinde başından beri var olmuş ancak yadsınmış olan bir olgunun en yeni ismidir. Bu makalede, bir organizasyonun yönetiminin iş sürekliliği konusu içerisinde stratejileri belirlemesi gerektiği tartışılmaktadır. Makale, yönetim sistemi kavramını yönetim sistemini temelden etkileyecek olan prensipleri ve son olarak kaynaklar açısından iş sürekliliği stratejilerinin belirlenmesi için takip edilmesi gereken süreci tartışmaktadır. Ek olarak kanıta ve gerçeklere dayalı karar verme, yetkinin gerçek anlamı ve anlaşma kavramları da tartışılmaktadır.
