Öz

This research paper examines the integration of seismic bracing in building design to improve building safety and aesthetics, specifically in Istanbul, Turkey. The paper evaluates various seismic bracing styles, such as planting, lighting, and Art Deco, using modeling to assess their effectiveness in enhancing building safety and aesthetics. The aim is to provide an in-depth understanding of how seismic bracing styles can be utilized in architectural design to improve building safety and aesthetics. The paper highlights the importance of seismic bracing in earthquake-resistant design and its potential to enhance the architectural function of buildings while ensuring their safety during seismic events.
