Havayolu İşletmelerinde Dijital Dönüşüm Uygulamaları Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Öz

Bu çalışmanın temel araştırma konusu havacılıkta dijital dönüşümün bir parçası olarak havayolu işletmelerinin kullandıkları dijital uygulamaları incelemek ve yeni teknolojilerin bu uygulamalar ile nasıl birleştirildiğini ortaya koymaktır. Bu çerçevede yeni teknolojiler olan blok zincir, artırılmış gerçeklik ve sanal gerçeklik, yapay zekâ, işaret teknolojisi, robotik, biyometri, büyük veri ve analitik, makine öğrenmesi, nesnelerin interneti, RFID ve barkod tabanlı izleme, GPS ile takip, giyilebilir cihazlar, akıllı sensörlerin havayolu işletmelerindeki temel faaliyetler olan satış ve pazarlama, operasyon yönetimi, kaynak yönetimi, bakım yönetimi, müşteri ilişkileri yönetimi, iş birliği yönetimi sistemlerini dijitalleşme kapsamında etkileme durumu ortaya konulmaktadır. Ayrıca havayolu işletmeleri için değer zinciri analizi dikkate alınarak dijitalleşmenin bu zincir içindeki yeri çalışma kapsamında ele alınmaktadır. Dijital dönüşümün havayolu işletmelerinin temel faaliyet alanlarına etkisi ele alınmış ve maaliyetine karşın işletmeleri kaçınılmaz olarak dijitalleşme çabası içinde olacakları değerlendirilmiştir.

A Review on Digital Transformation Practices in Airline Companies

Öz

The main research subject of this study is to examine the digital applications used by airline companies as a part of digital transformation in aviation and to reveal how new technologies are combined with these applications. In this context, the effect of new technologies such as blockchain, augmented reality and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, sign technology, robotics, biometrics, big data and analytics, machine learning, internet of things, RFID and barcode-based tracking, GPS tracking, wearable devices, smart sensors is revealed. The impact of these technologies on sales and marketing, operations management, resource management, maintenance management, customer relationship management and cooperation management systems, which are the main activities in airline companies, within the scope of digitalization is also revealed. In addition, considering the value chain analysis for airline companies, the place of digitalization in this chain is discussed within the scope of the study. The impact of digital transformation on the main fields of activity of airline companies has been discussed and it has been evaluated that, despite the cost, their businesses will inevitably be in an effort to digitalize.
