Kawasaki Hastalığı Şok Sendromu

Öz

Kawasaki hastalığı KH , özellikle 5 yaş altı çocuklarda ortaya çıkan bir multistem vaskülitidir. KH’nın klinik karakteristiği 5 günü geçen açıklanamayan ve uzamış ateşe ek olarak yaygın mukoza inflamasyonu, iki taraflı pürülan olmayan konjuktivit, eritematöz deri döküntüleri, el ve ayaklar üzerinde anjiyoödem ve boyunda lenfadenopatidir. Kawasaki şok sendromu KŞS , KH’nın nadir ve ciddi bir formudur. Komplikasyonları önlemek için çoçuk sağlığı ve hastalıkları uzmanları ve yoğun bakım uzmanlarının KH’nın bu az görülen başvuru şekli ile ilgili farkındalığı olmalıdır. Kawasaki Disease Shock Syndrome

Öz

Kawasaki disease KD is an acute multisystem vasculitis that occurs principally in children younger than 5 years of age. The clinical characteristics of KD include diffuse mucosal inflammation, bilateral nonpurulent conjunctivi- tis, erythematous skin rashes, angioedema over the hands and feet, and cervical lymphadenopathy in addition to pro- longed and unexplained fever lasting for >5 days.Kawasaki disease shock syndrome KDSS is rare and severe form of KD. Pediatricians and intensive care unit professionals should be aware of this uncommon presentation of KD to prevent complications. Here in we presented a 2-years old male patient with Kawasaki shock syndrome KSS
