Öz

Kendiliğinden intestinal perforasyon, çoğunlukla çok düşük doğum ağırlıklı yenidoğanlarda görülen son zaman- larda tanımlanmış bir klinik tablodur. Prenatal ve perina- tal risk faktörleri arasında sayılan maternal hipertansiyo- nun perinatal intestinal hipoperfüzyona yol açarak dismo- tilite ve staza yol açtığı düşünülmektedir. Öz

Spontaneous intestinal perforation is a recently defined entity, which is mostly seen in very low birth weight infants. It has been suggested that prenatal and perinatal risk fac- tors may include any etiology causing perinatal intestinal hypoperfusion due to maternal hypertension as well as factors associated with dysmotility and stasis. We report a case of spontaneous intestinal perforation due to the meco- nium obstruction in a very low birth weight premature infant with a history of maternal hypertension with litera- ture highlight
