The population of the study consisted of the children between 6-59 months of age and their parents, The survey questions about sleeping habits were asked to the parents during a face-to-face interview. The weight and height of parents were measured and body mass indexes were also calculated. Results: The mean age of the children was 30.0±18.1 months. For the first 6 months 67.4% n=139 of the babies were breastfed for the first 6 months of their lives was n=139 . At the end of the evaluations it was found that 88.3% n=18 of the parents shared their rooms with their children, and 27.6% n=57 of the children slept in supine position.
