Çocuklarda Besin Allerjisi ve D Vitamini İlişkisi

Öz

Allerjik hastalıkların prevalansının son yıllarda tüm dünyada artışının yanı sıra D vitamini eksikliği veya yetersizliği de yaygın olarak görülmektedir. Vitamin D eksikliğinin atopik dermatit, astım ve yineleyen vizing ile ilişkisi çeşitli çalışmalarla araştırılmıştır. Besin allerjisi ile vitamin D arasındaki olası birliktelik ilk kez epidemi- yolojik çalışmalarda dikkati çekmiştir. Gebelikte D vita- mini alımı, maternal veya kordon kanında vit D düzeyi- nin besin allerjisi üzerinde koruyucu, arttırıcı veya etkisiz olduğuna sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Çocuklarda yapılan az sayıdaki çalışmada vit D eksikliğinde besin yerfıstığı ve yumurta allerjisinin arttığı saptanmıştır. Besin duyarlanması-vitamin D ve gen etkileşimi incelen- diğinde, vit D eksikliğinin belirli genotiplerde besin duyarlanmasını arttırdığı bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, besin allerjisi ve vit D arasındaki ilişkiyi araştıran çalış- malar olmasına rağmen, sonuçları çelişkilidir. Bu neden- le çocuklardaki besin allerjisinde çocuk sağlığındaki geçerli bilgiler eşliğinde doğru vitamin uygulaması yapılmalıdır

The Relationship Between Food Allergy and Vitamin D in Children

Öz

Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency as well as an increase in the prevalence of allergic diseases has been widely observed all over the world in recent years. The relations- hip between vitamin D deficiency and atopic dermatitis, asthma, and recurrent wheezing has been investigated in several studies. The probable coexistence of food allergy and vitamin D has drawn attention to the first time in the epidemiological studies. Vitamin D intake during preg- nancy and maternal or cord blood levels of vitamin D have been found to be protective, relatively more effective or ineffective in food allergy. A few studies have been determi- ned that food peanut and egg allergies increased with the deficiency of vitamin D in children. An analysis of food sensitization-vitamin D and gene interaction has shown that vitamin D deficiency increases food sensitization in specific genotypes. As a result, although there are some studies investigating the relationship between food allergy and vitamin D, the results of these studies are conflicting. For this reason, correct vitamin supplementation with regard to current available information about child health should be applied in children with food allergy
