Öz

Lower extremity injuries may occur due to various reasons. The most important two features of injuries of the farm workers are contaminated wounds by soil, fertilizers and plant residues as well as the injury may cause traumatic avulsed flaps. Our patient who had been injured after a tractor accident had contaminated wound in his right leg and the skin over the thigh was avulsed like a flap. Traumatic avulsed flaps should be protected for the wound reconstruction in agricultural injuries, besides secondary wound follow-up is very important after thorough cleansing the wound by antiseptic solutions

LOWER EXTREMITY INJURY OF TRACTOR ACCIDENT: THE IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOW-UP OPEN WOUND

Öz

Alt ekstremite yaralanmaları çeşitli sebeplere bağlı olarak oluşabilir. Tarım işçilerinde oluşan yaralanmalarda en önemli iki özellik yara bölgesinin toprak, gübre ve bitkisel artıklarla kontamine olması ve travmatik avülse fleplerdir. Kliniğimizde tedavi ettiğimiz hastada traktör çapasına bağlı sağ alt ekstremitede kirli yaralanma oluşmuştu ve sağ uyluk derisi flep şeklinde avülseydi. Tarım yaralanmalarında travmatik avülse fleplerin yara rekonstrüksiyonu için korunması ve yaranın antiseptik solüsyonlarla temizliğinden sonra sekonder yara takibi oldukça önemlidir.
