Öz

Dental implants are considered as a successful replacement of missing teeth. Thread, thread design and body shape are in macro design of a dental implant. Thread design includes thread geometry, thread depth, thread pitch, face angle, thread helix angle or thickness. Many factors such as implant design, implant surface, material biocompatibility, surgical technique and loading conditions affect implant osseointegration. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is an accepted theoretic technique that can be used to simulate mechanical systems to predict stresses within an object. This computerized mathematical method is utilized as an important tool to evaluate these effects and the implant biomechanical characteristics. Osseointegrated dental implants have similar role of natural teeth. They are continuously exposed to dynamic and static loadings. It is essential to understand stres concentrations around implants. Eight finite element models were constructed with two implant systems, which contained four types of fixture in combination with two types of bone quality; the numbers of elements and nodes were well refined in the models. The finite element analyses were performed with the ANSYS Workbench program, which was used to calculate the von Mises stress distribution. Computer-aided engineering software was used to input a 3D model of the sample and defined the mesh control of the models. After meshing the 3D model, conditions such as loads, constraints, and materials were assigned. ÜÇ BOYUTLU SONLU ELEMAN ANALİZ YÖNTEMİYLE İKİ TİCARİ İMPLANT SİSTEMİNİN GERİLME DAĞILIMLARININ İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Dental implantlar eksik dişlerin yerinde kullanılan başarılı bir protez olarak kabul edilmektedir. Dental implantların diş, diş tasarımı ve ana şekli mikro olarak incelenmiştir. Diş tasarımı; diş geometrisi, diş derinliği, diş adımı, diş yüzey açısı, diş helis açısı veya kalınlığını içerir. İmplant tasarımı, implant yüzeyi, malzemenin biyouyumluluğu, cerrahi teknik ve yükleme koşulları gibi birçok faktör implant osseointegrasyonunu etkilemektedir. Sonlu Eleman Analiz (SEA) yöntemi, bir nesne içindeki gerilimleri tahmin etmek için mekanik sistem simülasyonlarında kullanılan teorik bir teknik olarak kabul edilir. Bu bilgisayarlı matematiksel yöntem, bu etkileri değerlendirmek ve implantların biyomekanik karakteristiğini anlamak için önemli bir araç olarak kullanılmaktadır. Osseoentegre olmuş dental implantlar, doğal dişler ile benzer özelliklere sahiptir. Dental implantlar sürekli dinamik ve statik yüklemeler maruz kalmaktadır. Bu implantlar etrafında stres konsantrasyonlarının bilinmesi çok önemlidir. İki implant sistemi için sekiz adet sonlu eleman modeli oluşturulmuştur. Sistemde iki tip kemik kombinasyonlu (elemanları ve düğüm numaraları modellenmiş) dört tip yapı vardır. Von Mises stres dağılımını hesaplamak için ANSYS Workbench programında Sonlu elemanlar yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 3 boyutlu modelin girişi için bilgisayar destekli mühendislik yazılımı kullanılarak modelin mesh kontrolü sağlanmıştır. Üç boyutlu modelden sonra yüklemeler, sınırlar ve malzeme koşulları tanımlanarak çalışmada kullanılan tüm malzemeler homojen, izotropik ve lineer elastik olarak kabul edilmiştir.
