Studies on the Synthesis of New Derivatives by Structure Variations of Antitumor Active Sugars

Öz

In this research various molecules have been synthesized taking as models the compounds which are either clinicaly antitumor active or have been found active but not used currently. Dibromomannitol is an antineoplastic compound but none of the compounds in this series contains an amino function, taking this point into consideration a series of compounds starting from glucoseamine has been synthesized. Bromine has been introduced onto the critical points of molecules. All the derivatives which were prepared contain amino function and this function is allways on position 2. On compound XIII bromine has been introduced on both position 1 and position 6. Also th synthesis of a compound which was made before has been realized (VII). In addition to the compounds mentioned above also the N— dibromo derivative of glucoseamine has been prepared for the first time.
