She is the member of Research Group on Methodology, Methods, Models and Outcomes of Health and Social Sciences (M3O) and the professor (Serra Húnter Program) at the Faculty of Health Science and Welfare of the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia. She is giving lectures on Qualitative Research Methodology and Surgical Nursing and participating as a lecturer in certain laboratory teaching activities of nursing students.
She earned her nursing degree in 2006 and master degree in 2008, both at Haliç University (Turkey). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Surgical Nursing at Istanbul University (Turkey) in 2014. Her Ph.D. thesis was about the effect of mirror therapy on the management of phantom limb pain which brought a professional nursing care perspective into this subject. Her main research topics are pain management nursing, pain management in children, phantom limb pain, underestimation of pain by health providers, and the effect of positive affirmations on symptom management.
She has academic teaching and investigation experience since 2007. She took a part as the board member of the European Nursing Student Association (ENSA) between the period of 2013-2014. On the other hand, she is currently collaborating as a reviewer in 5 scientific journals.
She has 20+ articles in indexed peer-reviewed journals, 50+ studies presented in international congresses. She was awarded 6 times in five national and one international nursing congresses with the studies she presented.
Elias Valiakos is a Laboratory Teaching Staff (=Lecturer) at the Department of Nursing, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly, specialising in the "History of Health Sciences." He studied History at the Faculty of Philosophy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1986-1991). He continued his postgraduate studies with a focus on Modern Greek History (1996-98) in the same department. He completed his doctoral thesis in the Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences at the University of Thessaly on: "The Dynameron of Nikolaos Myrepsos: Pharmacological and Medical Approaches". Subsequently, in 2016, he received a scholarship from the German Research Centre for a postdoctoral research position. He intended to produce a critical edition of the Dynameron of Nikolaos Myrepsos, which he completed at the University of Munich. In 2019, the first critical edition, eight centuries after the writing of the Dynameron by Nikolaos Myrepsos, was published by the publishing house of Heidelberg University, and it was reissued in 2020 with an English introduction. In 2025, he published the book entitled: Die anonyme medizinische Rezeptsammlung im Codex Laur. Plut. 75.3 presents the earliest version of a text that, over the centuries, evolved and became known as the Dynameron. He has participated in numerous research conferences and has written several articles. His research interests primarily focus on manuscript codices, historical references in therapeutics, and approaches during the Byzantine era. His articles have garnered international attention with numerous citations.

Aynı yıl Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik bölümünde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaya başladım. Halen 2018 yılında Hemşirelik Fakültesi olan aynı kurumda araştırma görevlisi olarak çalışmaktayım. Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi'nde yüksek lisans (2019) ve doktora (2023) eğitimimi tamamladım.
