A rare preeclampsia condition: Twin pregnancy with complete type hydatidiform mole and coexisting alive fetus, case report and review of the literature

Twin pregnancy with complete type hydatiform mole and coexistent live fetus (CHMCF) is a rare obstetric condition in the clinic. Management of pregnancy after diagnosis is controversial due to maternal and fetal complications that may couse a dilemma in practice. Although there are papers which supporting the pregnancy termination in the literature, conservative approach has taken over in recent years. Therefore, counseling to the family is important. In this case report, it was aimed to present a case of twin pregnancy that was with complete type hydatiform mole and coexisting alive fetus and to review of the literature.

Nadir bir preeklampsi nedeni: Komplet tip mol hidatiform ve canlı fetusun birlikte bulunduğu ikiz gebelik vaka sunumu ve literatürün gözden geçirilmesi

Öz

Komplet tip mol hidatiform ve canlı fetusun birlikte bulunduğu ikiz gebelik klinikte oldukça nadir rastlanılan obstetrik bir durumdur. Tanı sonrası gebeliğin yönetimi oluşabilecek maternal ve fetal komplikasyonlar nedeniyle tartışmalıdır ve pratikte ikilem yaratır. Literatürde gebelik terminasyonunu destekleyen yayınlar bulunmakla birlikte son yıllarda konservatif yaklaşımın ön plana çıktığı yayınlarda mevcuttur. Bu nedenle aileye verilecek danışmanlık önemlidir. Bu vaka sunumunda komplet tip mol hidatiform ve canlı fetusun birlikte bulunduğu, canlı doğumla sonuçlanan bir ikiz gebelik olgusunun sunulması ve literatürün gözden geçirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
