Öz

Aim: Low thyroid hormones can increase the mortality of critical patients involving adults and children. It is not yet known whether premature infants with congenital hypothyroidism CH present a risk to mortality. In our study, we aimed to investigate the relationship between mortality and CH in premature infants with very low birth weight VLBW

Öz

Amaç: Tiroid hormonlarının düşüklüğü ile kritik hastaların mortalitesini artırabildiği erişkin ve çocuk hastalarda belirtilmiştir. Yalnız konjenital hipotiroidi KH olan prematüre hastaların KH olmayan hastalara göre mortalite açısında risk teşkil edip etmediği henüz bilinmemektedir. Çalışmamızda, çok düşük doğum ağırlıklı ÇDDA
