With the development of technology, the use of information and communication technologies in the field of health is also increasing. Nurses benefit from information technologies in matters such as preparing care plans, following patients' stories, planning medication times and recording applications. With advancing technology, the concept of informatics nursing has emerged and become widespread all over the world. Informatics nurses are tasked with managing, developing and optimizing information technology systems in healthcare systems. The purpose of this review is to discuss the importance of informatics nursing in the world, the work done by continents in this field and the place of our country in the field of informatics nursing.
