Fenol-4-Sülfonik Asit ve 1,3-Bis(4-Piridil)Propan Tabanlı Yeni Organik Bileşiğin Hidrotermal Sentezi ve Karakterizasyonu

Öz

Bu çalışmada, yeni iki-boyutlu organik bileşik [PSA2][BPP2] (psa=fenol-4-sülfonik asit, bpp=1,3-Bis(4-piridil)propan) hidrotermal yöntem ile sentezlendi, tek kristal X-ışını kırınımı, toz kristal X-ışını kırınım yöntemi (PXRD), element analizi ve katı-hal UV-vis spektroskopisi ile karakterize edildi. Kristal yapı analizi, bileşiğin ortorombik kristal sisteminde Pca21 uzay grubunda kristalleştiğini ve asimetrik biriminde iki psa ve iki bpp ligandından oluştuğunu göstermektedir. Fenol ve piridil grupları neredeyse düzlemseldir. Ek olarak, bileşiğin kristal yapısı moleküller arası O–H…O, C–H…O hidrojen bağlarının yanı sıra molekül içi C–H…π ve bpp molekülleri arasında meydana gelen π - π etkileşimleriyle iki-boyutlu yapıyı oluşturmuş ve yapısal kararlılık sağlamıştır.

Hydrothermal Synthesis and Characterization of New Organic Compound Based on Phenol-4-Sulfonic Acid and 1,3-Bis(4-Pyridyl)Propane

Öz

In this study, the new 2D organic compound [PSA2][BPP2] (psa=phenol-4-sulfonic acid, bpp=1,3-Bis(4-pyridyl)propane was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), elemental analysis, and solid-state UV-vis absorption spectra. The crystal structure analysis of the compound indicates that complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic crystal system Pca21 space group and its asymmetric unit consists of two discrete psa and bpp ligand. The ring of phenol and pyridyl groups is almost planar. Additionally, crystal structure of the compound is linked via intermolecular O – H…O and C – H…O hydrogen bonds as well as intramolecular C–H…π and between the bpp molecules π - π interactions, which form two-dimensional structure and provide structural stability.
