Duraylı İzotoplar Jeokimyasının Maden Yataklarına Uygulanması

Öz

Son yıllarda duraylı izotoplar jeokimyası, cevher taşıyan akışkanların doğasının ve cevher oluşum süreçlerinin kavranmasında büyük ilerlemeler kaydetmiştir. Maden yataklarının kökeni ve oluşumlarına ilişkin problemlerin çözümünde güçlü ve etkin bir yöntem olduğunu kanıtlamıştır. Cevherli akışkanların ana bileşeninin su olması ve farklı kökenli suların kendilerine özgü O ve H2 izotopik bileşim değerleri göstermeleri nedeniyle, çözeltilerdeki suyun kökenini ve tarihçesini açıklamada 0, ve H, izotopları yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Çeşitli maden yataklarının izotopik bileşimleri hakkındaki güncel çalışmalar magmatik sokulumların sadece, çevre kayalar içerisinde deniz suyu veya meteorik suyun dolaşımıyla oluşan bir hidrotermal dolaşım sistemini yürü- ten bir ısı kaynağı olarak hareket ettiğini göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte, izotop verilerine göre, cevher oluşumunun ve hidrotermal alterasyonun en belirgin özelliği, olasılıkla, farklı kökenli suların karışımıdır.
