İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği Dersinde Simülasyon Kullanımının Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Amaç: İç hastalıkları hemşireliği alanında lisans eğitimi veren eğitimcilerin simülasyon eğitimi ile ilgili deneyimleri, simülasyon uygulamaları ve simülasyon uygulamalarına ilişkin görüşlerinin
belirlenmesidir.
Yöntemler: Çalışma Kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı araştırma tasarımına sahiptir. Çalışmanın örneklemini Türkiye’deki devlet üniversitelerinde İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği anabilim dalındaki 114 öğretim
elemanı oluşturmuştur. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen eğiticilerin simülasyon uygulama durumlarını ve İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği alanında simülasyon uygulamaları hakkında görüş-
lerini sorgulayan Google form ile toplanmıştır.
Bulgular: Öğretim elemanlarının %48,2’sinin çalıştıkları eğitim kurumlarında simülasyon laboratuvarının olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Öğretim elemanlarının %36,8’i simülasyonla ilgili eğitim almasına
rağmen %15,8’i iç hastalıkları hemşireliği dersi kapsamında simülasyon laboratuvarını kullandığı saptanmıştır. İç hastalıkları hemşireliği dersi kapsamında öğretim elemanlarının %98,2’si simülas-
yon laboratuvarı kullanılmasını önerdiği belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği anabilim dalındaki öğretim elemanlarının simülasyon uygulamaları hakkındaki görüşlerinin olumlu olduğu, simülasyon laboratuvar sayısının yeterli olmadığı,
simülasyon eğitimi alan öğretim elemanlarının çok azının iç hastalıkları hemşireliği dersi kapsamında simülasyon uygulamalarını gerçekleştirdiği belirlenmiştir.

Evaluation of Simulation Usage in Internal Medicine Nursing Course

Öz

Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the experiences, simulation practices, and opinions of educators providing undergraduate education in internal medicine nursing regarding
simulation training.
Methods: The study has a cross-sectional and descriptive research design. The sample of the study consisted of 114 faculty members in the Department of Internal Medicine Nursing at state
universities in Turkey. The data were collected through a Google form that questioned the simulation implementation status of the educators developed by the researchers and their opinions on
simulation practices in the field of internal medicine nursing.
Results: Of the faculty members, 48.2% stated that there are simulation laboratories in the educational institutions they work. Although 36.8% of the faculty members received training on simulation, 15.8% of them used the simulation laboratory within the scope of the internal medicine nursing course. It was determined that 98.2% of the faculty members recommended the use of a
simulation laboratory within the scope of the internal medicine nursing course.
Conclusion: it was determined that the opinions of the faculty members in the Department of Internal Medicine Nursing about simulation implementations were positive, the number of simulation laboratories was not sufficient, and very few of the faculty members who received simulation training carried out simulation implementations within the scope of internal medicine
nursing course.
