TEDARİKÇİ ÇEVİKLİĞİNİN ÖLÇÜLMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR YAKLAŞIM ÖNERİSİ: OTOMOTİV SEKTÖRÜ UYGULAMASI

Öz

Amaç: Çalışmanın
amacı, tedarikçi çevikliğinin ölçülmesine yönelik Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi’ne
dayalı bir yaklaşım geliştirmektir. İşletmelerin bu yaklaşımı kullanarak
tedarikçi çevikliğini ölçebilmesi ve geliştirebilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

Yöntem:
Araştırmanın uygulaması otomotiv sektöründe yapılmış olup, bir otomobil
üreticisinin tedarikçileri hız, esneklik, bilişim teknolojileri entegrasyonu ve
işbirliği yeteneği temelinde oluşturulan çeviklik yaklaşımına göre
değerlendirilmiştir. Önerilen yaklaşım Analitik Hiyerarşi prosesi ile analiz
edilmiştir.

Bulgular:
İşletmelerin pazardaki beklenmedik ve ani durumlara karşı cevap verebilirlik
yeteneği literatürde çeviklik olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Bir işletmenin
tedarikçilerinin çevik yapıda olması, işletmenin karşılaşacağı ani ve
beklenmedik durumlara tepki vermesini kolaylaştıracaktır.







Sonuç:
Çalışmanın sonucunda, Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi’nin tedarikçi çevikliği
ölçümünde başarıyla kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir. Oluşturulan yaklaşımla,
bir otomobil üreticisinin tedarikçi performansı değerlendirilmiş ve
tedarikçilere yönelik muhtemel iyileştirme önerileri sunulmuştur.

Proposal of a New Approach for Measuring Supplier Agility: An Application in Automotive Industry

Öz

Aim: The ability of businesses to
respond to unexpected and sudden changes in markets is referred agility. The
agility of suppliers will make it easier for businesses to respond to sudden
and unexpected situations. The aim of this research is proposing a new approach
for measuring the supplier agility using Analytic Hierarchy Process. It is
intended that this approach will be used to measure and improve supplier
agility.

Method: A comprehensive literature search has
been conducted to identify the criteria that determine the supplier agility.
Criteria
determined in the literature have been revised according to opinion of an
expert. The degree of importance of each criterion has been determined by
expert opinions. Analytic Hierarchy Process was used in the process of
weighting the criteria.

Findings: The Analytical Hierarchy Process
can be used as an alternative method of measuring supplier agility. It has also
been determined that the most important determiner of supplier agility is the collaboration
capability. Other factors affecting supplier agility are supplier's speed,
flexibility and information technologies.  







Results: The proposed approach is applied to
automotive industry and the suppliers of an automobile manufacturer were
evaluated according to the agility approach built on the basis of speed,
flexibility, information technology integration and collaboration capability.
Hence, supplier performance was measured and possible improvement
recommendations were presented.
