Dayanıklılık Sporcularında Beslenme Müdahaleleri: Güncel Yaklaşımlar

Öz

Dayanıklılık, iskelet kaslarının egzersizin zorluklarına dayanarak sürekli performans gösterme yeteneğini ifade eder. Dayanıklılığı etkileyen faktörlerden biri de beslenmedir. Dayanıklılık egzersizlerinin üç aşaması vardır: egzersiz öncesi, sırası ve sonrası. Bu aşamalardaki beslenme gereksinimleri; antrenman yoğunluğuna, egzersiz türüne, bireyin vücut kompozisyonuna, hava koşullarına vb. göre değişir. Egzersiz öncesi, sırası ve sonrasında alınan besinlerin türü, miktarı ve zamanlaması, dayanıklılık sporcularının enerji seviyelerini, toparlanma süreçlerini ve performanslarını etkilemektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı, sporcularda dayanıklılık potansiyelini geliştirmeyi destekleyen besin tüketiminin zamanlaması ve miktarı da dahil olmak üzere çeşitli güncel beslenme müdahalelerini ele almaktır.
