ECONOMIC AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF SOLAR ENERGY UTILIZATION

Öz

This study was carried out at the College of Medicinal and Industrial Plants at the University of Kirkuk. The college's essential solar system and its economic equivalent if diesel generators or national grid electricity were used were compared economically. Economically, a big difference existed between the utilization of solar energy and one of the traditional methods. The factors that affected the operation of the machine were analyzed technically, such as lost power, the impact of temperature on the panels, the distortions of the waveforms as a result of using the inverter in question, magnetic flux, among others. Compared to the traditional approaches, solar energy proved to be economically viable and technically better regarding the working of the machine that positively impacts on its working life and also provides some extra financial savings in terms of fuel, maintenance, and operation costs.
