THE IMPACT OF INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS ON ACHIEVING BALANCE AND REGULATING COUNTRIES WATER SHARES: IRAQ AS A MODEL

Öz

Water is the lifeblood without which all creatures would perish, and water constitutes almost three quarters of the earth's area, but many factors, including the rise in the temperature of the earth and irresponsible human consumption, have led to the emergence of the so-called water crisis, specifically those that are fit for human consumption, as well as the increasing conflicts to acquire water and use it as a means of pressure for governments and peoples, and this is what the mechanism of international agreements and the development of international legal principles regulating the sharing of water between coastal countries and the importance of international cooperation for the distribution and management of water according to the International Agreements and Measurement on the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.
