Öz

Firmalar için yeni pazarlara girebilmek ve mevcut durumlarını koruyabilmenin yolu yeni ürün hizmet, süreç ve yönetim oluşturmaktan geçtiği çok açık şekilde ortadadır. Bu sebepten dolayı ürün, hizmet, süreç ve yönetim alanlarında sürekli bir yenilik yapmak rekabetin temel noktasını ürünün ticari bedelinden kalite, performans ve kazanımına kaydırmıştır. İşletmelerin rakiplerinden farklı değer yaratması ve bunu strateji ile yenilik arasında bağlantı kurarak rekabet kazanımına dönüştürmesi karlılık ve büyümenin sürdürülebilmesinde en önemli etkenlerden birisidir. Bu durum stratejik yenilik açısından rakipler tarafından henüz keşfedilmemiş ve uygulanmamış bir süreci benimseyen işletmeler için güçlü bir rekabet üstünlüğüne sahip olmak anlamına gelecektir. Bu çalışmanın amacı stratejik yönetim anlayışında yenilik ve yenilik yönetiminin önemini ortaya koymak, yapısını ve unsurlarını incelemek ve stratejik yenilik yönetimi ile rekabet üstünlüğü sağlamanın örgütler için önemini değerlendirmektir.
