Bibliometric Analysis of Published Articles on Green Entrepreneurship in Business Administration Using Science Mapping Techniques

Öz

The aim of this study is to analyze research on green entrepreneurship in terms of bibliometric indicators. In the study, bibliometric analysis technique, one of the quantitative research methods, was adopted. Articles published in the Web of Science database, in English language and in the field of business administration constituted the data set of this study. After the filtering process, 112 articles were subjected to analysis in Biblioshiny, a web interface of the R program. As a result of the analysis of the articles published on green entrepreneurship in the field of business administration, the annual growth rate of the subject was 18.29%, the total number of authors working on this subject was 308, the average article age was 3.21 and the average citation per article was 30.28. In 2010, it was determined that the publication adventure started with 2 studies on this subject and 21 studies were published in the first half of 2024. When we look at the universities with the highest number of publications on this subject, it is seen that universities such as Queen's University Belfast, Dublin College University, University of Southampton, University of St. Gallen come to the fore. They are followed by Oldenburg Carl Von Ossietzky University, Copenhagen Business School, Leeds University and Liverpool University with 5 articles. De Montfort University and Dhofar University are also on the list with 4 articles. The most prominent concepts in the published articles were “entrepreneurship”, “sustainability”, “green” and “innovation”. It is thought that this study will serve as a guide for researchers striving for a sustainable and greener world and thus contribute to the literature.

İşletme Alanında Yeşil Girişimcilik Konusunda Yayınlanmış Makalelerin Bilim Haritalama Teknikleri ile Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Bu çalışmanın amacı yeşil girişimcilik ile ilgili araştırmaları bibliyometrik göstergeler bakımından analiz etmektir. Çalışmada, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden bibliyometrik analiz tekniği benimsenerek analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Web of Science veri tabanında yer alan, İngilizce dilinde ve işletme alanında yayınlanan makaleler bu çalışmanın veri setini oluşturmuştur. Yapılan filtreleme işleminin ardından 112 makale R programın bir web arayüzü olan Biblioshiny’da analize tabi tutulmuştur. İşletme alanında yeşil girişimcilik konusunda yayınlanmış makalelerin incelenmesi sonucunda konunun yıllık büyüme oranı %18.29, bu konuda çalışan toplam yazar sayısı 308, ortalama makale yaşı 3.21 ve makale başına ortalama alıntı 30.28 olarak tespit edilmiştir. 2010 yılında bu konu üzerine 2 çalışmayla birlikte yayın serüveni başladığı ve 2024’ün henüz yarısında 21 çalışmanın yayınlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu konuda en fazla yayın yapan üniversitelere bakıldığında Belfast Kraliçe Üniversitesi, Dublin Kolej Üniversitesi, Southampton Üniversitesi, St. Gallen Üniversitesi gibi üniversitelerin ön plana çıktığı görülmektedir. Daha sonra Oldenburg Carl Von Ossietzky Ünı̇versı̇tesı̇, Kopenhag İşletme Okulu, Leeds Üniversitesi ve Liverpool Üniversitesi 5 makaleyle onları takip etmektedir. De Montfort Üniversitesi ve Dhofar Üniversitesi de 4 makaleyle listedeki yerini almışlardır. Yayınlanan makalelerde en çok dikkat çeken kavramlar ise “girişimcilik”, “sürdürülebilirlik”, “yeşil” ve “inovasyon” olmuştur. Yapılan bu çalışmanın sürdürülebilir ve daha yeşil bir dünya için çaba gösteren araştırmacılar için bir rehber niteliğinde olacağı ve böylece literatüre katkıda bulunacağı düşünülmektedir.
