The aim of this study is
to determine the difference between the primary school students who participate
in physical activity practices and the physical activity program applied to
increase the quality of life on primary school students who do not attend. The
research was carried out at the Vestel Primary School (n = 878) in the center
of Manisa. The study was carried out on the students between 12 and 14 years of
age (n = 297) who were exposed to stress and stress due to the TEOG Exam
applied by the Ministry of National Education. Kiddo Kindl Adolescent Scale was
used to collect data. In SPSS 17.0 statistical program; In the pre-test
post-test comparison, the T-test in the Dependent Groups and the Wilcoxon
Signed Rank Test were applied for the data that did not comply with the normal
distribution. In the comparisons between the intervention group and the control
group, the T test was used for the data in the normal distribution for
continuous data and the Chi-square , Whitney U test was used for the
categorical data. For type 1 error, α = 0.05 was taken. As a result; As a
result of the physical activity program applied to the students in the intervention
group, it was found that the total quality of life scores increased more than
the scores of the students in the control group and statistically significant
difference was found between the pretest and posttest scores.
