Öz

Yerel halkın turizm algısı, turizme yönelik tutumların oluşmasında önemli bir etkendir. Yerel halkın turizme yönelik tutumu da destinasyondaki turizm gelişimini olumlu ya da olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle yerel halkın turizmi nasıl algıladığına yönelik çalışmaların yürütülmesi gerek alan yazın gerekse ilişkili turizm paydaşlarına faydalı veriler sunması açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, yerel halkın turizm algısını konu alan geçmiş çalışmaların incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanında 2014-2024 yılları arasında yayınlanmış 995 adet makale analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında temel anahtar kelimeler “tourism”, “residents” ve “local people” olarak belirlenmiş ve daha sonra konuyla ilişkilendirilen diğer anahtar kelimeler aramaya eklenmiştir. Analizlerde VOSviewer yazılımı kullanılarak ilgili konudaki yayınların dizin kategorileri, yıllara göre sayıları, yayınlandıkları dergiler, ülke ve üniversiteler, çalışma alanları, yazarları ve atıf sayıları ile ortalama atıf yüzdeleri ile anahtar kelime ve özet analizleri yapılmıştır. Bulgular; tablo ve görselleştirmelerle desteklenerek açıklanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre son yıllarda yerel halkın turizm algısına yönelik yayınlar sayıca artmış ve çalışma alanları genişlemiştir. Alanda önde gelen dizinlerde taranan dergilerde yayınlanan ilgili makalelerde konunun farklı çok sayıda yazar tarafından değişik açılardan incelendiğini görülmüştür. Çalışma sonuçları yerel halkın inceleneceği gelecek çalışmalar için de katkı sağlamaktadır.
