Öz

Migration has always been a crucial part of humanity. Throughout the centuries, people have moved from one part of the world to another for various reasons. Regardless of the motivation, entrepreneurship tends to be one of the most common ways for migrants to maintain their economic survival. Yet, the concept of sustainability is rarely considered within the framework of migrant entrepreneurship. In this context, the main objective of this paper is to examine the academic literature surrounding the concepts of migrant entrepreneurship and sustainability. A bibliometric search was conducted on three academic databases: SCOPUS, Web of Science and Emerald. 56 distinct studies were identified and analyzed. The results revealed that the field is in its infancy stage, but has received significant attention in the last couple of years. The prominent use of qualitative data collection methods and lack of uniform theories further justify the infancy of the field. Finally, the analysis has revealed that the majority of the studies are published from highly developed countries that receive a considerable amount of migrants.
