Öz

Doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar (DYY), birçok gelişmekte olan ülkenin geçiş ve gelişim süreçlerinde önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Önemli miktarda DYY çeken ve bundan yaralanan birçok gelişmekte olan ülke ile karşılaştırıldığında, uluslar arası ticarete açıklığının artmasına rağmen, Türkiye’nin bunu yapmadığı ortadadır. Bu çalışmada, bazı makroekonomik değişkenlerle DYY girişleri arasındaki nedensellik ve uzun dönem ilişkisine dair bulgular ortaya koyulmaktadır. Bulgular, sadece DYY’nin bir dönem gecikmeli değerinin ve ticarî dışa açıklığın DYY girişleri üzerinde anlamlı etkileri olduklarını göstermektedir
